Jack Griffin is a self-described "neighborhood guy" from Springfield who happens to be in the race for Hampden County Sheriff. Griffin, a veteran corrections official born and bred in the Forest Park section of Springfield, has called the neighborhood's streets his home for 56 years. He is a former Addiction Services Director for the Connecticut Department of Corrections, and as a candidate Jack is committed to getting mostly young offenders to stop killing each other on the streets of Springfield. In this interview he discusses what he plans to do if elected.
